All the effects in canon are retained and NPC can be sacrificed. People who are able to have Bijuu-level Chakra all know how to release themselves but only Wood Release Senju can resist without requiring the mass release first. Zombies can continue acting as long as a portion of their head remains and regardless they will regenerate all damage. It takes 1 post for regeneration to complete and stamina recovery occurs normally but can be done while using jutsu. Do not abuse stamina recovery and active things like clones take permanent stamina.

Zombies require separate and reasonable character sheets shared on posting. Zombies need to roughly "match" who they're fighting and can't outnumber them. Edo can't grow in power and they're missing 1 of their S-rank jutsu to show the gap from their power alive. Members need to RP their former characters or the PC Edo have no personality. Edo zombies can be rendered completely inert by thought alone but require placing free talismans inside them for control. Controlled zombies will act at their tactical best even if they retain their personality but do not need to act on information only they know (such as Itachi's Kotomatsukami) and speak freely without summoner control. All past Edo are considered legendary figures unless PC. Edo revives 3 unique custom Kage from the past per user.

Limited jutsu are only usable at War Level.
Test Level 1: 5,000 words. Purely designed for map-wipe suicidal techniques unable to use any others. All stats are genin. Limited to one target.
Battle Level 2: 5,000 words. You need to wipe their personalities. They have chuunin stats with only B-rank jutsu. Limited to 5 targets.
War Level 3: 5,000 words and only reachable by insane experimenting. Implants from any point of life are retained only here along with a person's physical prime if extra attention is given. Summoning at the war level there will always be 2 to betray you and try to bypass the Edo Tensei. Admin team determines this if it can't happen naturally enough. You cannot wipe random personalities to prevent betrayal. This level requires testing by necessity and thus a large number of Edo Tensei that you can't numerically number. All are considered NPC until they're made relevant.

The user at the war level in essence has plot armor and can't die to prevent all the Edo Tensei staying around. An Edo NPC will always interfere to save them if they're about to die, and then will leave. If all 5 villages are traveled to and 50k words is done RPing with others then the Edo Tensei user will find that they've revived someone who has unlocked Rinnegan.

An Edo Tensei user can't fight together with their zombies at the war level as they'll be discovered and crucified by the world instantly. Besides the Kage and Rinnegan all other zombies need a reasonable level of power if they aren't PC.
