Name: Uchiha Ancestral Armor

Appearance: A light brown set of heavily plated armor with black cushioning underneath it's chakra enforced steel plating. Covers the shoulders and upper arms completely; stops at the waist except for the middle piece going down between the legs and behind the backside, helps for free leg movement.

History: Armor passed down through generations of the Uchiha clan. Forged and reforged countless times to fit each new user. The armor when it finally made it's way down to Haru, was shattered and badly rusted; and she had to journey all the way to the Land of Mist to have it reforged at the Cold Forge itself. Now it is better than ever, and worn with pride by the Leaf ninja into battle.

So, item abilities are equivalent to jutsu and require the jutsu template for each one.

In this armor's case the current ability isn't necessarily needed as B-rank health can parry by itself.

Defenses don't really stack here and there aren't resistances or damage reductions by rank (as imaginably everyone would then take them, categorize them, etc running wild from the RP essence).

Some abilities can be permanent, and some are purely like jutsu which don't tend to be permanent. Forged armor and medical-related things can be permanent in some ways.

If purely wanting a passive defensive ability (from the craftsmanship of the armor), you could write for the armor something like "as a dedicated defense the armor is more likely to have advantages when clashing". Or an active ability that works exactly like jutsu also wouldn't need to be a D-rank reduction and can be a full B-rank defense if you'd like. In both these cases taijutsu can still be defended somewhat depending on how RP plays out.
