The village was quite busy today, it always seemed to be right before pay day. Machi always thought that a lot more people would be more relax the day before pay day, knowing that their check would arrive to their doorstep early in the morning. Nevertheless, Machi didn't have to worry about matter like so at his age, lucky for him, his parents were still taking care of him. The brown haired bow would be seen sauntering along the sidewalk towards a crossroads. One path led to there main center of the village, where most of the bartering and commerce took place, the other led back towards the village residencies. Even so, wit the amount of traffic flowing in and out of his position, it was awfully quite busy. After much thought, the cautious individual makes a left, heading back towards the residencies. He didn't have anything planned, so his day would most likely end up wondering around the village. Almost everyone in the village needed permission to leave, which meant requiring a good reason for the higher ups to acquiesce.

Machi attire consisted of a white shirt short sleeved shirt, covered with a thin navy blue vest. His long pants were khaki, and is sandals were the same color as his vest. And of course, he wore his signature navy blue hat, which took place of his shinobi leaf headband. The metal plate usually seen on headbands was placed on the front of his hat for all to see. Along with a few other pouches and trinkets, his attire was pretty basic compared to others. The only thing standing out was his hat, notifying others that he was a shinobi of this village.

He then thinks ask to his sensei, the team he was placed on was quite rambunctious. The Inuzuka, and the two other Uchiha were quite lively he thought. Not that any of that was a problem for Machi. Besides, what was a meek soul like Machi going to do about that. He actually quite enjoyed the fact that he was finally placed on a team. That, and the well received input he got from his sensei. Although, Machi still had a long way to go before he could be promoted from his genin rank status, it was nice to have positive feed back an confirmation that he was headed down the right path. While pondering about this, coincidently, the path he was walking on started to decline downwards. he could see a good portion of the village on his left side due to the elevation. It looked quite wonderful from this view, well enough that it would make a beautiful photo.

Haru had been stalking one of her students for the better part of the morning. She'd found his address, and was going to pop in for a surprise visit to meet his parents; however her student had left his house before she got the chance. Watching from a nearby tree, she hopped and walked on fence lines behind him careful not to be too loud as Machi was the most cautious of her three students; alerting him wouldn't be very hard. She herself was this way as a student, the cautious one of the three; so she saw a lot of herself in Machi. However, each of them reminded them of a portion of herself in some strange way.

The leaf village was shining with sunlight; even though it was winter and somewhat chilly out. As he came to one of the main crossroads of the village; the kid was swallowed up in a mixture of people bigger than him for a couple brief moments but Haru never lost track of him. He looked like he was deciding where to go. A perfect chance.

With a simple 'Shadow Clone' jutsu another of her would pop into existence with smoke next to her in the tree, crouching on a branch as she was. With a mental plan between herself; the clone would hop down and flick a kunai out amongst the people; no one noticed. Approaching Machi from behind, not trying too hard to conceal herself the clone of Haru would move as close as she could to him from behind; seeing how long it took for him to recognize the feeling of her chakra OR recognize that he was being followed. As she got close enough, she would go for a strike toward his neck but of course stop short of it whether or not he was skilled enough to block it. She hoped however that he was; the real her would grin playfully from the tree. Hopefully he actually whipped around and struck at the clone. One of her first lessons had been to strike with killing intent when one did unless you were trying to keep your target alive.

Pondering about which path he should take, while keeping in mind the foot traffic one path would lead him into, he notices rapid movements approaching him from behind at a distance. The crowd was indeed heavy, but all were moving a a generally moderate pace, save for one person. He could hear the foot steps getting louder while closing in on him, so he thought. Machi, being he the generous person that he was, decided to move out the way of the person he assumes was in a hurry. With is small frame, he could easily get trampled over by the person in a hurry, that of course was if that said person was taller then him. This was not a risk Machi wasn't willing to take. Seeing how crowded both his flanks were, he decides to put his shinobi knowledge to work. He figures that the more he utilizes his training, the more accustomed he'd get with it. He brings both his hands together above his waist and forms a single tiger seal to activate a jutsu unknowingly a few feet from the clone in pursuit of him, his form fading from sight instantly in such a way as to not give direction as to where he was headed. His movement at such speeds he looked as if he merely teleported, as that was the body flicker jutsu. He shoots forward, taking cautious steps, avoiding the traffic ahead. Of course, he turns left to avoid the heavy traffic in the center of the village at high speeds. His speed would go unnoticed by the civilians untrained, turning corner only to stop along a path shortly leading downwards towards a few apartments.

Noting the decline of the pathway, Machi began to move forward once more, he casually checked behind him after his jutsu was one. He wanted to see if the person was heading in his direction again, perhaps said person was in a rush to go home to see the family? Nevertheless, he plans to continue on about his business.

Surprised that he'd picked up that technique...that would be an understatement as Haru's eyes from the tree widened. Her clone would look back up to her as if to ask what to do as Haru nodded to the side as if to say to vanish. The clone would then puff into smoke; surprising a few folks walking by but not really causing too much commotion.

Her sharingan would spin into place; as it stopped whirling; what she'd just seen replayed in her mind. Watching the chakra form and blast off from Machi in a certain direction; she would leap with an amazing hop from the tree to a rooftop. Tailing Machi from above. She would be looking diagonally down in a cool scene as she followed her student.

Waiting for a moment of opportunity...there it was. Her sharingan would whirl off and her eyes would return to their normal black as the moment he looked backward; Haru would hop down in front of him about ten feet as he ran. He would likely run right into her armor, or skid to a halt.

".....Nicely done. That was me back there.....I wonder where you picked up that technique from." a rare true smile with her eyes closed was shown as she gave a thumbs up casually. "I was actually on the way to your house to tell your parents how impressed I was with you...and to meet them of course...but I saw you leaving...figured it was a good opportunity to see what you'd learned." proud but casual, she would walk up next to him. "Well....up for it?" she said as she looked to her right with her arms crossed only uncrossing them to pluck his hat upward a little, but not off of his head with a small grin. Introducing ones parents could be nerve racking; if he wasn't up for it they could take off and do something else. But she hoped he was. She would be his second "Aunt" or "Sister" for years to come now after all.

Cutting the corner sharply, fully speed at top gear, he was wrong to assume he made his way to his intended destination unabated. He sees a familiar figure ahead of him coming up real fats. The long black raven hair accompanied with the armor reminded him of his sensei. It was his Sensei! His momentum being to great to stop on the dime, he skids towards her. Boot his feet digging into the tough dirt path towards her. He stumbles a bit but manages to avoid running into the woman, at full speeds. He stomps abruptly inches away from her, the path behind him was marked with two deep rows of dirt left behind by his feet. He looks back to se his handy work. The smoke rose up from the friction of his sandals. Subsiding, Machi quickly snaps his vision back towards the figure who indeed turned out to be his sensei. Feeling quite embarrassed, he falls back on natural respect for his elders.

"Haru Sensei!", he says looking up while taking a step back, giving her even more room. He bows once for good measure before hearing that it was her herself chasing him. He stares off to the side glass eyed a bit, taking in the brief awkward silence. 'Was she testing me? Why would Haru Sensei want to see me today?', he thought. All was then revealed shortly after, his vision no fixed on her but no eye contact was made. Machi never quite did so for two reasons, his height and the fact that he was shy.

"Oh, my parents? Oh they, they don't live together anymore...", his tone dialed down a bit. "They said that they need space, that they needed, a break. I don't think they are ever going to moving back in together, they've been on a break for a while now...", upon hearing the his Sensei offering to see what he had learned since the meeting, Machi's tone elevated from down and under to up beat and cheerful. If it was one thing he liked, it was to train and use ninjutsu. "Ye YEAH! And afterwards you can meet my dad! I'm supposed to sleep over his house this week. He's a better cook than my mom too, says he used to be a sous chef."

The two were then seen walking towards an empty lot next to the training grounds, away from the residencies. The village was filled with plenty of roads and hidden paths. Reaching there, he scans the field for anyone before entering via the gate. With nobody in sight, he looks back towards his Sensei for confirmation before look back ahead of him. He begins to weave a set a hand signs before him, a cupped like form with his left and, which he brought to him mouth. Blowing out with his mouth, he forms a fireball in front of him a foot away, the size of an average beach ball. Reaching with his right hand for his weapons pouch on the back of his waist on the right side, he pulls out three kunai with a loose grip; all in the same hand. The ball flies forward, but disperses into three separate balls of fire after Machi toss the kunai into the ball of fire that once stood still. The kunai, now ignited with flames, fly towards a large concrete slab a few yards in front of him, reducing to large chucks of rubble. "I saw this once done by an academy instructor...", he says while staring into the flames.

Haru would make a comical panicked face as Machi slid into her armor with a VERY impressive skid. In fact the brakes reminded her of a certain blue character in a video game the kids in the village would play...however she shook off the thought quickly and would suppress a laugh as the genin would look up and realize who she was.

As they talked, she felt connected to the young boy as her parents had split on and off a few times due to her father's recklessness as a shinobi; accepting missions far and wide with three children at home. So she nodded and made a serious expression, sighing a bit when he finished.

"Love has a way of driving it's own carriage. No matter who's riding along.....best avoided if you want to be successful. Good to share after you've become successful." she smiled at him, nodding as she put a hand on his shoulder. Her expression was one of an older sister, or relative. He could probably tell she was being genuine.

Putting a hand to her face; she would give an 'mhm, mhm' nod as he put off the family meeting and elected for training. They would depart together through the extremely busy village. Passing by a few Jonin who nodded to Haru; but also said hello to Machi in their own ways. Team 1 was gaining recognition; since they were rumored to have the Nine Tailed Demon Fox on their squad, and just about everyone in the village knew who Machi was as well, since he was one of the students hand picked to be on a squad with one of the village elders. A couple more hello's and jokes toward Haru from other Jonin she'd grown up with about taking off her armor every now and then, and they would be alone on the forest path out of Konoha through the gates. Eventually, they would follow the path to the legendary training grounds.

Pulling her sword from her sheath, and giving it a whirl. Haru would rest it on her shoulder and tap it against her armor. Nodding to Machi, signaling she was ready to begin training.

He began hand seals that she immediately recognized as fire style; then he would exhale three chair sized fireballs as they whirled upward. With quick handwork, as she noted he had good dexterity, he would fling a set of three kunai right through the fireballs as they smacked the ground with splashes of flames and stayed embedded in them. The flames would blaze as the view would pan up to Haru looking on indifferently as she tapped her sword on her shoulder a few times before whirling it and sheathing it again.

"You paid attention in class I see..." she would step up right next to him, as they would be shown side by side. "Next time...try it like this." within a split second; she would throw three kunai into the air and they would smack into one another after flying upward about thirty feet above them she would perform the same handsigns; only so fast you could hear the wind coming off of them. Exhaling three fireballs, she would put two fingers up to her mouth as they blazed into the environment; pushing her hair back as they exploded with force from her breath.  The fireballs would split and hit the kunai right after they'd contacted one another. She would then, still with two fingers near her mouth turn and control the fireballs to spin and whirl around; and finally, slam all together on one spot; making a huge flaming explosion. "If you put your chakra into the fire, you'll be able to control where the kunai go, make them chase your target....scary right." she would say as the sound of crackling fire was heard all around her.

"Let's try it again....only this time, let's add a twist....make a Shadow Clone throw that same jutsu at me....then at the moment when I dodge, hit me with another jutsu, or go for a taijutsu attack. I won't use any shadow clones myself, or try to dodge your attack....but if you miss...it's on you and you'll be doing shuriken throws for two hours tomorrow." she would step back as she talked, as a matter of fact she'd been moving backward while talking.

With burning kunais all around the battlefield now, she would nod to him and wait to see if he could pull of this two step planning technique.

Stepping back he watches his sensei perform a new jutsu, which was really an improved version of his own. The blast from her own fire style was much more serious than his own. He started to wondered if he could ever get that good. Naturally, Uchiha were blessed with the genetics to excel in genjutsu and fire techniques. With a handy trait like that, along with years of dedication and discipline, the product would be that before him. His face struct with a starry look upon, Haru finishing her technique. With that, machine was charged with the task of repeating not only the same just, but also having to go on the offensive against her. Most genin fresh out of the academy would kill for a moment like this. Machi would know, as he was once one of them. A private lesson with a jounin? Machi made sure to take advantage of this beneficial moment.

Machi was then seen walk away from, Sensei Haru as to distance himself from her. He didn't travel too far, seeing that his sensei did so the same, distancing herself from him. His mouth muttering the tasks one after another, while in tandem of coming up with a plan of  attack. Stopping a few feet away he turns around and forms a shadow clone to the right of him, the cloud dissipates almost as fast as it was summoned. But, Machi took advantage of that brief window behind the white smoke, already weaved a set of hand seals. He had to, after taking note of, Sensei Haru's proficiency with ninjutsu. If Machi knew anything about is new Sensei, was that she loved pulling tricks. The shadow clone then mimics what, Sensei Haru did not too long ago. The clone, after retrieving three kunai from his back pouch, threw three kunai into the air ahead. Weaving the correct hand signs, he blows three decent sized balls of fire and sends them upwards Into the air to meet with the other kunai. The balls of fire engulfed the weapons and with the clone's mental command, the balls of fire change direction rapidly, as they now were headed towards Sensei Haru. The real Machi waited to see if his sensei would do as she said, and dodge the first wave of attacks. His breathing now heavy after forming the shadow clone. This took Machi by surprised, even he did not know that creating. a shadow clone would drain him this much. Then again, this was his first time crafting one.

When they were a good distance from one another, Haru would grin a little and raise her eyebrows as if to say 'well?' to Machi as no sooner did she do this did he use Shadow Clone Jutsu and made another of himself; however before the smoke cleared he had weaved hand signs. Impressed; that he was learning at such a rapid rate; she would smile when he managed to pull the technique off perfectly. Flames would howl and rip upward into the sky as he threw his kunai into them.

Suddenly; she would use a Substitution Technique; just as Machi had managed to flawlessly pull off the chakra control she'd been trying to teach him.

She would suddenly vanish out of her armor, and the armor itself would be hit with a barrage of fireballs filled with kunai.

Landing a little off to the side of this; now in her usual collared attire; she hoped she would feel an attack coming at the exact moment that she landed. If so, she'd let him get a solid hit in on her even if she saw it coming. If she didn't; well then props to him. She wasn't using her Sharingan at the moment, so hiding would be a great option for him.

Looking around she wondered where the attack would come from as she knew she only had maybe a second or two before he struck from somewhere as Machi was a quick planner on his feet. Reminding her of herself a lot when she was his age.
