Missions:

Celestia hid in a tree over looking the clearing in the forest that was host to a bandit camp. Some old hermit had spotted them and wanted them to scat. Wouldn't you know he had the money to pay for it too. Last thing you would expect from a hermit living in the woods. There seemed to be about 10 of them that were here anyway. The young genin had been observing them for awhile. This wasn't a mission she was supposed to take alone but she needed to get away from the family and this mission looked like the perfect distraction. She almost felt bad for the bandits though. They seemed like simple villagers from other towns disgruntled with their work and taking up banditry instead. Hastily put together and doomed to fall apart the moment anyone took notice of them. Even at the low rank of genin the combat skills they were trained in were more than enough for these poor saps. Still they had it coming stealing from others and scaring people. Actually worse than that. They even kidnapped a whole family that was out hiking in the woods. They had them tied up on poles in the middle of the camp. For what reason they kidnapped a family Celestia hadn't the faintest clue. They didn't seem influential and since they kidnapped the whole family holding them for ransome wouldn't work as well. But then again these inexperienced bandits had no idea what they were doing. The camp itself had about 6 tents in total with standing torches scattered about and a big fire pit near the captives in the middle of the camp. At least they got that right keeping their captives where people were always gathered.

They had only two people patrolling the perimeter. Celestia wouldn't be able to sneak a whole family out and even though they were bandits with no skill, numbers still made a difference. Celestia didn't want to risk it. She could pull it off on her own but if the bandit started threatening the family then she would become their captive too. This was an unfortunate hiccup in the plans. The young woman wished she had brought someone along. Celestia continued to wait and observe trying to come up with some sort of plan that would work. Maybe she could sneak in and free the family then fight the bandits off? No because then they would focus on recapturing the family. Maybe she could cause a diversion, that could work but damn she didn't have anything for that. Her specialty was one on one ninja fighting not groups. Celestia grumbled in silent annoyance.

Trekking the thick forest was but a simple task, granted wild animals and dangerous predators skulked about they were simple enough to hunt. For a novice hunter they would be out here for days and nights trying to catch simple prey like hogs and rabbits, but for an adept they knew what they were doing and how to do it. Granted they weren't experts, being experienced for years gave one insight on how to hunt, build makeshift traps, patience, and so forth. However today seemed quiet, oddly it just seemed too quiet for animals but at least the bugs and birds chirped vigorously so that was something.

Carefully well placed makeshift traps, built fully of wood and vines lined various trees, sizes for mainly rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, and small critters. If it were a coyote or wolf pup, a kitten or a cub, they were released. Baby animals had no business dying and their cries alerted the mothers and any other hunt in the vicinity. Bait was generally pieces of meat from other animals or berries. Nearby a well hidden but rundown cabin were multiple berry bushes and a stream not far off.

But the hunt weren't animals, but humans. Simple bandits who successfully pissed a certain Genin off. His traps were ruined, someone had been stealing his food and most importantly they were scaring away his daily catch. There was a mission in them anyhow and it was indeed a medium group from what he observed. Ten in total. Two patrolling the outer ring of the camp, four tents and a hostage family. It was a delicate situation, namely they were in a nice clearing which made it difficult to pick people off, there wasn't much for covering at all. Secondly, they had regular civilian people in there they could threaten and kill at the first sign of danger. The number wasn't a problem but the regular people were.

Alphine gave a harsh sigh at the edge of the clearing, perched on a thick branch and growing tired of simple avoiding. He noticed the two patrolmen would walk in the same wide circle, the others ignoring them as Alphine could only assume they were somewhat confident in their numbers enough to leave two men alone. Idiots. Alphine continued to watch until something caught his peripheral. He looked to his left and saw a girl perched as well, watching the camp below. She must be a shinobi too, if anything he prayed she was at least a chuunin but if not a second person could still work.

Quietly and as silent as possible he made his way over to her. Usually Alphine could handle a situation alone, he preferred being alone but seeing as it was his first mission and knowing the situation, he had no choice but to work with someone. It could work to his advantage.

"Are you shinobi?" Alphine asked as he snuck behind her. His piercing stare, the sleeveless, hooded stitched tunic, and the mouthwrap didn't help matters but clearly there was a Genin headband wrapped around his left bicep. If she didn't see that, then she was a fool I his opinion.

As quiet as he was nobody could sneak up on Celestia. Her ears were too sharp which she kept hidden by a transformation jutsu. Though she supposed sneaking up on her wasn't exactly his plan and soon discovered her assumption to be true when he came up and asked if she was a shinobi. Celestia looked him over and saw the band that marked him as a shinobi as a leaf as well. Her's was on her waist. "Yea you're arrival is actually great luck for me. We'll save the introductions for later for now we need to rescue that family. We'll sneak in together I'll release the family and escort them out of danger. You cover our backs and make sure they can't follow. Once they are in the clear I'll come back and help you clean em up. Save a few for me ok." Celestia said with a confident smile.

Perhaps she should have waited to hear his thoughts but she was sick of sitting around mulling the situation around in her head. It was go time. She'd jump down from the tree during the gap in which neither of the two patrolling guards. Using the tent's as cover she'd navigate her was towards the center without being seen. Her acute ears helped her avoid any bandits she couldn't see. Hopefully the other ninja was following closely behind her.

Eventually they would make it to the center and Celestia got to work cutting the family free. It didn't take long at all for the bandits to notice. She ignored them though focusing on freeing the family and trusting her new partner to handle it. With her attention focused on the task at hand she was able to free them quickly and she told them to follow her as she led them out of the camp. One bandit caught her by surprise hiding behind one of the tents they were about to pass. As they were passing it he swung a sword right at her. Just in time she was able to slide under it and quickly recovered back to her feet. He brought the sword back around for another vertical swing but with the miss of the last swing Celestia was able to block his forearm with her own she then gripped his forearm and twisted it making him lose grip of the sword. Celestia grabbed the sword with her other arm and shoved it through his gut. Since that time she was kidnapped and almost raped she didn't have a problem using lethal force against those who would do her harm. The 9 tails within her hummed in approval at her development. Making the it the rest of the way out Celestia hoped her impromptu partner kept any from following. She'd tell the family to head back to the village. They thanked her the usual but she cut them off and told them to go now. Celestia turned around and headed back to survey how her partner was doing and where she needed to help from here.

"Idiot," Alphine almost stated as the girl didn't devise any real plan nor did she wait for one. No, instead the gun-ho shinobi acted rash and rushed ahead. He saw no real reason to reason his chances now, any form of surprise was blown and they needed to act. Fast. Following in close, Alphine provided a needed cover as they'd be charging into combat. He supposed this would be a field test for that "Taijutsu" junk he'd been studying for awhile now.

Running right behind the duo would use the cover of the large and small tents. Within seconds they were already at the center of the camp, the girl began cutting the bindings while Alphine covered her impatient ass. There would be one hell of a talking-to after this. One man spotted the girl first to which he called out and acted on instinct. Using a nearby tent as his own cover, Alphine awaited for the man to come closer. Once he saw the bandit run in sight the Genin threw a solid stone and on point clocked the bandit in the left temple, causing not only major damage but knocking him out in the process.

Another bandit came in sight and Alphine rushed him, successfully getting a blow to the side of the neck with a swift jab. The bandit staggered back as he choked from the attack and the Genin used that open advantage. Striking three swift times, the bandit was on the ground cradling his midsection, a fellow younger than Alphine crying on the ground. Two out of ten, if they were shinobi the duo would be screwed. Three more bandits began a rushed approach as the now freed group fled to the forest's edge, Alphine would have to hold them if the group were to escape. That was not going to be an easy task.

The three charged the one Genin, two with a sword and the other with a leather parma and flimsy spear. Easy enough, Alphine lied to himself. Another bandit came from the side swinging a club almost striking the Genin but missed when he ducked, had it not been for his reflexes Alphine would have met for a swift end. He swept the bandit on it's feet and delivered a strong blow to the nose shattering it. Rolling back and grabbing the thick club as a sword swing came in, he spun and swung the weapon hitting the banding in it's left arm breaking it. The bandit screamed in a violent rage and wily swung the short sword, all easily dodged and countered with quick blows.

So on final jab to the windpipe, Alphine closed the gap and delivered a high kick to the jaw. The bandit dropped to the ground as a spear head almost found it's ways to his head, however it cut threw his cloth and sliced at his right cheek. The other bandit ran swinging a katana and the Genin was lucky to catch him by the swinging wrist and deal a blow to the throat. The struck again only to be parried and Alphinequickly struck the wrist wielding it causing the bandit to drop the weapon. With two punches to the windpipe, one to the gut and a finishing to the right jaw the bandit was on the ground.

The staggered enemy recovered only to be met by the ferocity of the Genin, however I seconds he dropped with two broken hands and a busted kneecap. That left five bandits, about a good minute maybe two and five were already down. The remaining five however were closing in quick, and with the civilians out of the way he could... do the same thing he's been doing, fighting. He didn't have any unique styles, no technique, hell not even Ninjutsu nor Genjutsu. Sure he knew basic fighting, he wasn't a lowly street brawler and living literally on the streets he was tougher than most. However it came down to how well Alphine can holdup against multiple foes, now only he prayed his stamina could keep up.

Celestia came running back to help the boy out with the other bandits. She was a little surprised and concerned to find he was fighting them all without using any jutsu. He moved pretty quickly though, maybe even quicker than she could under normal circumstances. Well hey if it was working for him who was she to knock it. However the five bandits left were closing in and surrounding him. Celestia's options of jutsu for groups especially at range was very limited and she didn't want the guy getting hurt. Celestia didn't like showing off that she could use a lot of chakra on a whim without tiring but she'd make a special exception here.

After weaving the hand signs Celestia let out a loud whistle with enough chakra poured into it to effect three people. Upon hearing it the three bandit's closest to Celestia fell under her genjutsu becoming completely paralyzed. From there it was a simple as dispatching them with the sword she had picked up. She figured her partner would be able to handle two more on his own no problem.

After everything was all taken care of Celestia would approach the guy and thank him. "What a bunch of jerks huh? Thanks for the help, I wouldn't have been able to handle them all on my own. My name is Celestia Tsuki and in case it wasn't already obvious I'm on the older side for a genin. If I was a chuunin these jerks would have been no problem. But it seems you are in a similar boat as me. I'm guessing you're only a little younger than me. I have a few missions left to complete if you want to tag along. We'll split the reward. And you don't have to worry they aren't as dangerous as this one. Just a couple stalkers I've been charged with tailing. Make sure they don't get into any trouble. The added company would be nice." Celestia said inviting him warmly.

The men surrounded the Genin and were careful to keep their distance, three have spears only, one with a short katana and the final training a bow on Alphine. He dared not move but was ready to strike if it came to a bandit charging him. One chuckled as the Bowman pulled an iron tipped arrow back and face the front of the young man but right as he was ready to fire the three spearmen stood paralyzed. Dropping their weapons this caught the attention of the Bowman and the sword bearer charged Alphine with a warcry... It a sorry attempt of one. He swung in a reckless fashion once and Alphine was quick to get under his guard. Using the opening in a quick burst Alphine delivered a hard blow to the groin with his knee, the Bowman was swift to respond and released the arrow. The Genin grabbed hold of the bandit kneeling and held him up as a shield. The arrow bit into the young bandits right bossom sending the kid screaming, and using the shocked bowmans lack of urgency Alphine rushed and delivered ten harsh blows, each one recieved with a satisfied crunch.

The the three men paralyzed and the other two down, Alphine looked over each one before dragging the individuals to the center of the camp and tying them. The one with the hole in his chest had the iron tip remain there, if removed it would cause further bleeding and kill him sooner. Each man groaned and looked like a bloody mess as they should. They dared not look at the pissed expression of the young Genin who whipped their asses, but when one of them looked up to check out the girl Alphine was quick to knock his lights out. He stepped back and ignored Celestia Tsuki for a moment at the work.

"You should all be glad you're still alive. Not that anyone would miss you," Alphine stated to the still conscious in a deep authoritive tone, "If it were anyone else, you'd be dead. Think of this as payment for your actions."

The Genin turned to other with a hard expression, he looked like he was about to get onto her but simply dropped it, "Alphine. My day of hunting has been ruined thanks to these clowns so I'll take your offer."

The boy turned to her looking not too pleased. What did she do wrong? She couldn't for the life of her figure out what she could have possibly done to offend him but thankfully he dropped whatever it was on his mind and agreed to tag along but otherwise didn't say a word. Hmm maybe he wouldn't be such great company after all. She also made note he hadn't given his surname even though she provided hers. Oh well better than no one. "Pleasure to meet you Alphine. Let's get going."

Making their way back to the village they had to first locate them in order to tail them. One was a man in his early thirties with red hair and was a little on the skinny side. Wore casual clothing and could usually be found stalking playgrounds or other places you can find kids. The other was a woman in her mid forties. She had blond hair and brown eyes. She dressed scantly as she could her age and was usually pretty easy to spot as a result. She didn't really seem to have a favorite hunting pattern but finding her shouldn't be too difficult. Celestia would make sure to explain the details of their targets. "We're going to have to split up. I'll go find the woman if you want to go find the man.

After splitting Celestia would jump from rooftop to rooftop just looking out for any creepy woman standing out. It actually took a long time, she had to search the whole big village a few times before catching sight of her. She was leaving a dance club was a younger gentleman in tow. He was old enough to be considered an adult but not old enough to drink. She supposed since he was an adult any thing they did as long as it was consensual was ok, as creepy and disturbing as that image in her head was. Still her job was to tail her.

They walked around a little. Went out to dinner the woman of course paying as the man didn't have any money. Pretty much normal date stuff at least as normal as a woman dating someone half her age could be. However things got difficult when they went into some warehouse. Celestia looked around for another entrance. She found one and entered without any difficulty. Looking around Celestia was in shock. It was a giant BDSM warehouse. "Help me! Ahh noo." Celestia heard the man screaming. The genin found herself a vantage point climbing up some rope she didn't want to know the purpose for. She found the man tied in a erotic manner if you could call it that. Just looked painful to her and she was embarrassed to look and be here at all. Plus the tricky matter was with this being BDSM and all his yelling could be all part of the role play. Did they have a safe word or something. If she stopped it just to be safe and was wrong she couldn't even imagine the embarrassment of having to explain the situation to a higher authority who she would likely be in trouble with. "God help, anyone!" He yelled before the woman stuck some gag device on him.

Ok that was the final straw. Even if they were role playing it wasn't worth the risk. Celestia jumped from the rope and landed near the two. "Let him go. You are under arrest." Celestia commanded. Suddenly the man hastily undid his binding and removed his gag. "What the fuck you pervert!" Celestia's face went red with embarrassment. Also how did he free himself, did that defeat the whole purpose?

Next thing Celestia knew her fear was realized and she was sitting in an interrogation room read to get a yelling at from a jounin.

As the two departed, Alphine was quick to scale a building with ease outbof sight. Living in the wilderness had it's perks and learning to climb trees without the use of Chakra was a hard but worthwhile lesson. The Genin took to the rooftops as did Celestia and he was quick to track down the red haired man. Skinny, red hair like Alphine's but common clothing wasn't hard to keep track. But multiple people had red hair and similar clothing which made it duffukt to track the man. Alphine needed to mark him.

A flock of pidgeons were unaware of the Genin's presence abd a thought popped into his mind. He waved his right hand near the birds and they took off, quickly picking up a pebble Alphine threw it at a bird just take off above his prey. As the bebble his the animal, it shat in kind on the man's pants, or tge backside rather. Nonetheless he seemed unaware as he had his arms around a girl younger than him, from hearing the man bragged about how he was an to disarm those traps someone was laying around the forest to free the animals.

"That son of a bitch!" Alphine exclaimed as he carefully tracked his prey on the rooftops, not yet spotted by anyone. So that was the bastard causing his hunt to escape!

Grinding his teeth Alphine tracked the two into an alley way, the man clumsy to grab his keys but instead brought up a kunai to the girls throat, putting a hand over her mouth and pushing her further into the dead end behind a bunch of dumpsters. He threatened to kill her is she shouted, how he's been watching her and on and on the creep ranted with a malicious grin. Alphine stopped just right above the man, ten feet then dropped. The Genin brought the metaphorical hammer down hard, smashing his fists into the man's back knocking him out. Regaining quickly, Alphine turned to a kunai to his own throat, the girl seeming infuriated aboit his presence.

"As Jounin of the Hidden Leaf I place you under arrest," The girl stated firmly before seeing a headband wrapped around Alphine left bicep, "You're a shinobi?"

"I was tracking this man, he's been stalking women lately from the Intel of another Genin. I simply followed the directions." Alphine replied in his defense.

The Jounin sighed and dropped the weapon. She walked to the man amd bound him rope, albeit Alphine noticed it wasn't tight enough. Was this a mission already taken? And if so why didn't Celestia tell him? That didn't matter now, the man was out cold and the Jounin... had planned on her capture. Alphine realized she was going to get information out of him and any chance of doing that was ruined... but at least he was caught.

"Do you realize it's going to be tough to prove that he was guilty?" The jounin barked at Alphine who in turn scowled at her.

"He put a knife to your throat and was going to rape you. Had you been a commoner and I wasn't around you'd been screwed," Alphine shot back, pointing out the obvious, "Plus the ropes not tight enough, he'll escape in due time."

The Jounin shook her head and double checked his binding. Clearly finished now, she turned back to the Genin, "I'm sorry I got onto you... this was my first mission like this as a Jounin and I really wanted this."

"Apology accepted. If you got this, I'll be on my way."

It was a pretty standard room. Extraordinarily plain white walls without any decorations to speak of. The only feature was a table with a couple chairs. Celestia was seated at the end that faced the door. Thankfully she wasn't hand cuffed to the table, she wasn't in criminal trouble thank goodness but she was still in a hefty handful of trouble. Eventually a jounin walked in. He was rather tall with red hair and blue eyes. She expected him to have an angry disappointed expression when he walked in. Rather the moment his eyes settled on her he suddenly seemed weighed down like something on his mind was trying to physically push him into giving up. "Celestia Tsuki, Team 1, one of Haru's famous students. Normally it would be her responsibility to figure out what happened and dish out the corrective actions but she is a little tied up at the moment."

Being the way she was Celestia couldn't help but attempt to tease him. "I bet if you told her one of her students had fudged up she'd stop playing around with her prey and finish whatever has her tied up lickity split." She said with an appropriate smile.

He seemed unamused at the comment for a moment, but then his gaze suddenly got intense. "You're using Chakra to maintain a Jutsu. You'd really do something so inappropriate given the circumstances?" He asked in a surprised accusatory tone. The genin's smile melted away and turned serious. "That's classified. You'd need elder level security access." The man seemed offended for a moment but he mulled it over. This was one of Haru's students it was not outside the realm of possibility for her famous some would say infamous team. There was a pause as the jounin considered things and Celestia had to break the silence. "So you know my name. Don't think I have ever heard yours?"

"My name is Chuck Finley. Why don't you tell me what happened. You were tracking the target annnnd?" The man asked getting on topic.

"Well I located the target leaving a dance club with a much younger guy in tow. I watched them go on, dates I guess. After a few she led him to a warehouse that seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere. They went inside and I had to find an alternate way in. When I did I found a sex dungeon and the younger guy was screaming for help so I apprehended her. Only to find out he was in on it. Honestly seems stupid I'm in trouble. What if I hadn't helped and the call for help was real. Then I would get in trouble for allowing someone to get rapped which would be nothing compared to the guilt I would feel over it."

"Well if you had been following them the at the beginning of the day like you were supposed to you might have been able to gather more relevant intelligence and it is your fault for ever losing sight of them."

"That's an unrealistic expectation!" Celestia shouted.

"Following your mission, starting on time?" He replied like he couldn't believe she had just said that.

"No the other part." Celestia said in a whisper lowering her head.

"Welp I'd rather not get in trouble with your sensei and she's likely to be a lot harder on you. I'd say we're done here. Show up on time in the future ya! Celestia shoot her head up and down enthusiaticly to both his comments.

The moment she was back on the streets of Konoha the strangest thing happen. A mad bull came charging through knocking anyone in the way over and just charging down the street. Like what the heck was this day! Jumping to the rooftops she'd move between them to keep an eye on the bull and start formulating a plan on how to stop it. It was honestly really intimidating though, how exactly was she supposed to stop it? She didn't exactly have any genjutsu tailored for bulls.

Alphine began to brood as he left the scene regarding the trap. He should have looked harder for any possible signs that girl was a Jounin, any signs that it was a set-up. Regardless what was done was done, he doubt any money was involved with this task due to his failure but hoped that Ms. Tsuki had better luck. So long as she was successful it wasn't too difficult a problem but it shown that Alphine was masterless, without any real knowledge as to combat greater threats and identify certain situations and complex problems. Such as different Jutsus. Alphine never disregarded anyone for a possible mentor but clearly didn't just want anyone, instead opting for teachers who were willing to help the young man overcome his problems and past. When he became a Genin, there wasn't anyone to take him, no one to guide him so he taught himself. There weren't any exact books or scrolls going over Taijutsu, it wasn't difficult a thing learn surely but there weren't many teachers that he heard of teaching the subject. Regardless, he moved on in life.

The Genin walked down the street, he gave a hard sigh as he searched for the girl he joined temporary arms with. It took a half hour, maybe she forgot about him? Hell, Alphine wouldn't doubt if she just used and ditched him. The way his day was going so far at least he got revenge on those bastards in the forest. A man ran passed but Alphine ignored it. Then a few other people ran passed him. It wasn't until his thoughts were ruined that he looked up. Alphine on instinct dodged the matador rampaging down the street however he was exactly fast enough. The right horn barely missed his eye but still gashed his left shoulder and deep cut on his left cheek causing blood to spew. Alphine only gave himself seconds to recover and dashed after the raging beast, using the newfound pain as a way of focus.

Alphine didn't know how to take it down until he saw an outdoor clothes shop the bull rammed through and a thought popped. Quickly as he saw it, Alphine scooped up two heavy stones and a thick rope that hung from a now-ruined stand. Swiftly, he tied the stones tightly at either end of the rope until they were snug and steady. closing in on the matador, Alphine began to swing over his head one end of the tied stone until he saw the moment to strike. With strength and grace, the man threw the spiraling rope at the beast's legs. He slowed with anticipation and luckily, by one slim chance the rope tied around the bulls two back legs when they came close as it turned a corner. With thuds and drags the bull fell, angrily crying out as the Genin approached it unaware of his gashes. Great. He got his revenge, then mucked up and gained nothing from a mission, and now he was hurt but caught the culprit. What kind of fucked up day was this?
