While Celestia jumped from rooftop to rooftop trying to figure out something to do the bull ends up almost running over Alphine. He manages to get out of the way though. Well at least there were two of them now. They could try and figure out some way to stop this thing. But before Celestia could do much of anything Alphine just up and made some sort of on the fly red neck bola and throwing it with spot on accuracy bring the bull to a halt. The green eyed genin was a bit jealous. If Haru sensei ever found out this happened that she had sat by and done nothing while someone else stopped the bull with seemingly no effort. Well Celestia didn't want to think of what Haru would do.

The bulls owner managed to catch up to the incident and with some local help began moving the bull back to it's enclosure. Welp now that, that incident is wrapped up there was nothing else to do for the day. She still needed to pay Alphine for the help with the previous missions and maybe he'd be willing to help her out in testing some new genjutsu she was developing.

Jumping down from the rooftops Celestia walked up to Alphine and handed him a pouch of money. "Here's half. We didn't get as much since I guess we failed a couple of the missions. That's it though, that wraps everything up. I got nothing else to do today. Would you be interested in doing a bit of sparring with me so I can test out some genjutsu I've been developing?" Celestia asked with the puppy dog eye pleading look. So far Alphine seemed like a pretty reserved fellow and she wasn't too sure if he liked her very much, but no harm in trying. Genin tend to always be looking for a chance to get stronger.

Alphine sighed as the owner came to grab his matador, suffice to say the owner gave Alphine money as compensation for the capture and... injury. Still the Genin seemed a bit angered that, "Money," was going to fix his arm and cheek but let it go. The older man was probably strapped for money and gave what he could. Alphine tossed the pouch back to the farmer and "kindly" suggested he keep a better eye on his bull. The farmer nodded quickly before tying a rope around his animals neck and leading it back to wherever they came from. Pain still pricked about his arm, but with a bit of alcohol for sterilization and a quick stitching the Genin would have it healed in due time. This wasn't the first time he got hurt like this, no, he's been harmed by animals and other people's traps. It wasn't out of the norm that he was usually hurt.

Although right now the Genin had no money he supposed burning the wound would be a best choice. That was until his "partner" actually shown up, a bit late but acted like it was no big deal. She'd been gone this time... his injury was clearly visible and still trickling blood... visibly he was pissed... and she treated all this nonchalantly?! To add she even asked him to train, although the "half pay" was a bit, it all went to the Genin repairing himself. Alphines patience ran quite low and finally he would give her his two cents... but didn't. But there was a clear air of disdain toward her, however Alphine supposed he could amuse the girl with training.

"Clearly you're either that oblivious or..." Alphine started, he would have called the girl a blind idiot but that wouldn't help matters, "Sure, I suppose I can amuse you further today. But we're choosing on a large rooftop, I'm not too keen on going back outside the village."

Alphine then scaled the backside of a building and jumped from one rooftop to the next, leading the way for the girl. He could have used her name in his thoughts, but it was clear everything was just fine and dandy with their failures. As young as Alphine was, he had the right to say, 'Fucking kids.' As he was enveloped in his thoughts they were quickly cut off as he spotted a large and evenly flat concrete roof, the top of a vacant warehouse. Perfect. He landed on the surface and grunted, the sudden jerk from landing affecting his injury. After this, he might just drink the rest of that alcohol he planned on getting.

"This good enough?" Alphine asked in annoyance, both fists balled up and his top ready to blow. He didn't show it, but that anger was there and he'd have to be careful with pulling punches... he doesn't want to hurt the girl too badly if this was some spar match.

"Clearly you're either that oblivious or..." Alphine said leaving the statement unfinished. It seemed he wasn't very pleased with her about something, she couldn't imagine what? He did have a bit of blood on him from an injury, nothing Haru sensei would consider serious so Celestia didn't think much of it. Maybe he wanted a change of clothing? It was going to be evening here pretty soon.

Alphine ended up agreeing anyway and led her to a suitable spot. It was the top of a warehouse about 40 meters long and wide. It was a random warehouse among many surrounding the area. With the clear skies it almost looked like an actual arena. It was a good spot if not for the worry of caving in the roof.

Celestia kinda felt uncomfortable fighting him now. It was clear he didn't like her. She didn't even know what he was capable of or what jutsu he specialized in. Normally she'd be excited to find out, but instead she was just worried about wasting his time. She decided she'd test out her jutsu for a bit and that was it. Take off before she could bother him any further.

She was situated 10 meters away from him. Behind her the edge of the roof was 8 meters away. She considered her opponent carefully for a moment. She knew from their fight back at the bandit camp he was a little bit faster than her, but that was perfect. This genjutsu was designed to exploit exactly that. Celestia would preform the hand signs real quick. It was only two so it'd be taken care of in a flash. Celestia would then charge towards Alphine. If he was under her genjutsu then she would appear to be just slightly behind where she actually was. It was specifically designed to give the user an advantage without any obvious tip off that the victim was in a genjutsu except that Celestia had specifically told Alphine it was a genjutsu. She'd start with a just a couple punches at his chest and assuming all went well she'd follow it up with a kick from her right leg aimed at his ribs. She wasn't exactly the strongest so she could give it all her strength. She'd disengaged after whatever happened backing up to reevaluate the situation.

Two hand signs, that's all it took for Alphine to get in a standard fighting stance. Arms in front, one fist in front of the other and one leg just a step in front of the other Alphine was ready for whatever. He was expecting something flashy like a fireball or anything other but as he looked sje just charged. He readied, careful of his foes capability whatever it was... that was until he heard footsteps closer than anticipated. Right as the girl approached the heard the hard steps right in front but brought his arms up to guard both chest and face.

Immediately hard blows contacted the Genin's arms just a split second later but something crashed into his right rib, knocking Alphine off balance a few steps. He grasped his side for a moment while not taking his eyes off his foe. Alphine didn't understand what was happening, how was she that fast? There was no way she could have gotten passed him unless she was that fast unless... Alphine was in a Genjutsu. Son of a bitch, That's what those hand were for.

As far as he knew Alphine noted it as an advantage on her part, but he needed to find out how counter this. Immediately, Alphine had an idea and pulled his coin bag he earned today. Opening it up, he tossed it in the air allowing the coins to fall around him in an eight meter radius. He was under something that dealt with sight, however that didn't stop his sense of touch nor hearing. Being a well experienced hunter this was situation familar with, he generally used hearing as a tool in hunting, mostly for medium to large prey but on occasion he caught small critters.

Alphine stood again in the same position, it wasn't an easy one to brake from upfront and with his relaxed posture it seemed he was confident in some capacity. No need to feel tense, but Alphine was ready to strike once the chance presented itself.

It seemed the jutsu worked exactly as intended. While he blocked the first two blows he was completely unprepared for the kick that was meant to do most the work. However now he seemed to know something was up from his momentary look of confusion back to calm calculation. He even grabbed some coins and tossed them around. She had no idea for what purpose the coins served but it was clear he knew something was up. It was nice to know that even with the trick being revealed certain measures had to be made to counter it. But to be most effective she'd have to make sure the first strike counts.

This had been very insightful and she ended up getting everything she wanted out of this. Although she could end it here it would seem wrong to do so and not test whatever he had planned to counter her. Besides she'd like to know how well her jutsu would hold up after it's discovering.

Celestia was getting ready to attack again when a familiar jounin appeared out of nowhere interrupting them. "Sparing on a rooftop." The jounin shook his head and finger "Tsk tsk tsk. As important as it is for young shinobi like yourself to spar and am glad you are doing so a rooftop is a poor choice. Imagine what would happen if you were to damage the roof." Although Celestia had thought that very thing earlier the jounin putting it into context gave the young kunoichi visions of a very unhappy Haru, which was the most terrifying thing in the world.

"But that's not why I'm here. I have a mission for you two that's mandatory. Some bull went raging through the village a bit ago and shit itself all over the place. We need you guys to clean it up. Actually on second though you look pretty worse for wear." The jounin said referring to Alphine. "You should probably go get patched up."

"Aww come on." Celestia complained. "We were the ones who stopped the bull. Don't we get a pass on cleanup duty. If it wasn't for us there'd be a bigger mess." "Us?" Alphine cut in. "I stopped the bull, you watched. The young kunoichi's face lit up with a feeling of betrayal. She supposed this was his payback for all the crap she'd put him through.

"Well that settles it. You boy, should get yourself checked and you Celestia go clean up the crap you left behind."

"Awww" Celestia complained but otherwise did as she was told. "Thank you for humoring me Alphine. I'm sorry you had to put up with me." Celestia said with a bow. With that she took her leave to take care of the crap real quick and then probably call it a day.

Alphine heard Celestia give complaint but regardless she thanked him and he nodded back, the Jounin vanished as well leaving the Genin to pick up all his coins. Finally the pain caught up to him and looking at the gouge he could tell the bleeding had stopped a short while ago. Still, it hurt like hell, and the now dried blood painted his arm downward. Alphine could have easily yelled at that Celestia character but he let it go, it was her that he was going to eat tonight... at least tonight. It didn't solve him being homeless but maybe that was for the best, shit, he had a barely busy business to run selling animal bone necklaces.

Some of those consisted of white bird or varmint skulls such as squirrels, rats, even reptile skulls if they were sturdy enough. Claws, perfectly shape teeth and fangs, of course all sterilized and glaced over with a clear hardening substance to help make the material smooth and glossy looking always helped catch a potential customers eye. In the end he'd only ever gotten to sale a few things, an item here and there. Alphine didn't know if it was just dumb luck or if he were in the wrong area. Regardless, half the money he earned would go to more supplies for something that wasn't going over well.

Slowly climbing down the building, Alphine walked back to the usual street he sold on and he was quite lucky that damn beast didn't crap in it. It must have been a different street then however he could tell that bull was through here, not much damage save for torn signs and a few broken wood. He sighed, knowing this was probably the most excitement he'll ever have in a while. Still, the Genin couldn't take his mind off that girl and her faults. She had to have smarter and had more common sense. Even Alphine, who's been out in the wilderness, on the streets and struggling for money was more weary on every situation. The second mission regarding tracking that predator wasn't his fault, Alphine didn't have the proper information and caused a problem for a Jounin. Celestia did help, he took down more than half those bandits and took down the bull, she did take out some of the bandits and free the captives but those same captured aren't going to remember Alphine.

That said, the Genin felt the cold breeze from the icy weather as clear as it was. He was no longer in the sun but now sitting on a heavy mat in a five foot box of an ally, right between a noodle shop and the other a small well known boutique. He reached an arm into a large hole in the lower wood foundation of the boutique a d pulled out several small chests. Opening them up and lighting a few candles, Alphine set out carefully made pelt clothing and bone jewelry. He sat and watched people go by, this was the time he pulled out some stitches and revealed his left shoulder. He began to work on it, pouring some alcohol on it and wiping anything away before stitching it shut.
